Applied Psychology Research Laboratory

Applied Psychology Research Laboratory will be directly involved in the organization of EAPL2025.
The Applied Psychological Research Laboratory (APRL) specializes in applied psychological research, which contributes to the development of new knowledge for the development of science, as well as the development of knowledge relevant to society, practitioners, policymakers, and the wider community. APRL activities aim to bridge the gap between theoretical research and applied practice by providing evidence-based solutions to real problems. One of the main priorities of the APRL is knowledge/prevention of psychological factors related to various types of violence. We already implemented such projects focused on this line of the research, as “Disclosure of sexual abuse experienced in childhood: assessment of prevalence and development of a Lithuanian simulated version of the interview platform (EIT) (UNCOVABUSE); “ Identity and post-traumatic growth of women who have experienced violence in close relationships: the role of resilience, coping and social support; „Psychological features of contact in interviews with criminal suspects“, and would be happy to provide more information on our findings during the EAPL2025 Conference in Vilnius.
